Topaz Impression is an image editor designed to help you turn digital photographs into quality paintings. The application lets you choose between multiple visual effects which imitate different types of brush strokes on a canvas and provides you with the quality paintings you need within moments.
All of the available output settings can be found on the right side of the interface. The first thing you need to choose after importing your photo is the brush stroke style. The program lets you select the preferred stroke length or color, adjust brightness level, and so much more.
A good aspect is that you can choose between various image preview modes. They can be found on the upper side of the interface and help you compare the end results with the original pictures.
Unfortunately, the application offers you support for a small amount of image formats. These are the supported input and output formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG, TIF, and TIFF. Furthermore, unlike other Windows programs that help you turn digital photos into sketches, this application doesn't provide you with cropping or rotating options.
But the most important disadvantage is the fact that Topaz Impression is pricey. You can definitely find cheaper solutions for transforming pictures into works of art. Hence, I'd say it doesn't worth buying this program, especially if you don't plan on using it often on your Windows PC.
